Announcing Project 24: Offering Free Resources to Help Districts Plan for Progress in Digital Learning
I wanted to let you to know about an upcoming free, online course (the Digital Learning Transition MOOC for Educators) designed to help district and school leaders plan for the effective use of technology. I am involved in this course as a Project 24 Expert from the Field for the Alliance for Excellent Education, and I think this course would be something that you would enjoy and find very useful.
The Planning for the K-12 Digital Learning Transition MOOC-Ed, offered by the Friday Institute at NC State University and the Alliance, will begin on Sept. 30 and continue for eight weeks. Sign up here to participate - https://courses.mooc-ed.org/dlt2/preview. Registration is open and FREE!
This MOOC-Ed will help participants to understand the potential of digital learning in K-12 schools; assess progress and set future goals for their schools or districts; and develop a plan to achieve those goals. Registration is open for interested school and district leaders, as well as any others involved in planning and implementing K-12 digital learning initiatives. This course is designed for busy district, school, and teacher leaders and teams. You will find the facilitation to be structured enough to help guide you through the content, but respectful of your demanding schedule. The course officially begins September 30, but sign up NOW to receive important pre-course updates. The course is led by Dr. Glenn Kleiman, Executive Director of the Friday Institute, and Dr. Mary Ann Wolf, formerly the Executive Director of the State EdTech Directors Association (SETDA).
I hope you will take a minute to check out the course information and consider participating with me. You will find many details, a course outline, and registration information at https://courses.mooc-ed.org/dlt2/preview.
